The plastics wall section (1) is particularly for the housing of a motor vehicle heating or air-conditioning system. It is at least partly of lattice-work construction (4), with skin-type material covering the intervening spaces (5). It can be formed by a grate structure, covered on the inside or outside, or both with sheet material. The design combines sufficient strength and easy assembly for normal use with the ability to crush easily in the event of a collision. |
