WATER SOLUBLE RUST PREVENTING FOR IRON SERIES METAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a water soluble rust preventive of iron series metal which is capable of preventing the corrosion of a clearance part by adding a putrefac tion preventive consisting of a specified compd. to a corrosion inhibitor for metal incorporating both a caustic alkaline neutralized material of dicarboxylic acid and sodium nitrite in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A water soluble rust preventive for ion series metal which is used in a neutral region is obtained by adding respectively about 2-500ppm (expressed as the concn. in aq. soln.) 1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one and sodium-2- pyridinethiol-1-oxide as a putrefaction preventive to a corrosion inhibitor for metal consisting of 50-90wt% caustic alkaline neutralized material of dicar boxylic acid and 10-50wt% sodium nitrite. The above-mentioned rust preventive is dissolved in water in about 0.01-5wt% concn. and used. Also in the above- mentioned rust preventive, the excellent rustproof effect is shown in about 7pH for iron series metal especially even in a clearance and furthermore it is endured to the use for a long period by suppressing the generation of microorganisms and any trouble is not caused in the environmental pollution due to the drainage of water.
