PURPOSE:To simplify an installation by providing the 1st and 2nd control circuits for the 1st and 2nd motors, a torque setting circuit, the 1st change-over circuit which controls selectively the 1st and 2nd control circuits and the 2nd change-over circuit which controls selectively the 2nd control circuit to the torque setting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The position signal from a position detector 52 is supplied via a control device 62 to a speed pattern generator 54 from which the speed command set according to the signal is continuously emitted. The motor 39 runs at the speed command value. The speed is gradually decreased in the position where a moving die 6 is in proximity to an upper die 5. A selection switch 53 is changed over to the 2nd speed control system side to run the motor 44 at a low speed at the point of the time when the speed coincides with the max. speed of the motor 44. A selector 64 is changed over to the torque setter 63 side to change over the motor 44 to the torque control system right after the contact of the moving die 6 with the upper die 5. The pressurizing force between the dies 5 and 6 is thereby maintained constant and the material to be molded is molded between the two dies 5 and 6. The pressurizing force of the die 6 is thereafter released to detach both dies when a screw shaft 36 is rotated backward by the motor 44.
