PURPOSE:To facilitate the handling of an opening meter by integrating it and a joint into a small size unit. CONSTITUTION:Adjusting a stopcock opener 7a on the top of a screw rod 7 rotates the valve rod 1a of a sluice valve 1 or the like via the screw rod 7, a screw rod connector 13, a first square pipe 12, a loose fitter 18, a second square pipe 17, a cap joint 20 and a connecting member 19 to adjust the opening of the sluice valve 1, changing a flow rate. The movement corresponding to the adjustment of the opening vertically moves a nut 9 via the male screw portion 7b of the screw rod 7 of an opening meter portion A and the screw of the nut 9 and slides a slider 9c mounted to the top of the nut 9 along the spiral slot 8a in a screw cylinder 8. A pointer 11 loosely fit in a longitudinal hole in the nut 9 is circumferentially displaced on the opening scale on a base 4 by the angle corresponding to the spiral displacement of the slider 9c, whereby the opening can be displayed. Since structure is thus simple and of small size, an opening meter has few damages and the handling thereof is facilitated.
