摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain the sintered barium titanate porcelain material in which the fibrous barium titanate is oriented at right angles to the pressing direction by naturally settling a suspension of fibrous barium titanate in a forming mold, filtering off the water, compressing and sintering the obtained formed body. CONSTITUTION:A suspension of fibrous barium titanate (BaO.TiO2) in water is cast over a plate and then dried to obtain the thin layer of the fibrous BaO.TiO2. The thin layers are then laminated in a forming mold and pressed to obtain a formed body in which the fibrous BaO.TiO2 is oriented at right angles to the pressing direction. The formed body is heated above its sintering temp., then cooled and polarized in a DC electric field. The sintered BaO.TiO2 porcelain material obtained by this process oscillates only in a fixed facial direction, and naturally resonates in accordance with its diameter. Consequently, the material is used as a frequency filter or an oscillator as is the case of quartz crystal. |
