<p>PURPOSE:To input various signals continuously with a single hand by providing a switch means, which has an operation member on the upper face, in the peripheral part of a touch pad which is a detecting means of coordinate information. CONSTITUTION:A frame-shaped switch 40 as the switch means consisting of a frame-shaped switch button 41, switch patterns 43 and 44, and a pressure- sensitive conductor 5 is provided in the peripheral part of a touch pad 10 as one body. When a load is applied to an optional position of the button 41 of an input device having this constitution, a projecting part 42 presses the pattern 43 through a sheet body 1, and the pressed part of the conductor 5 displays the conductivity to make the pattern 43 and the pattern 44 provided on a sheet body 3 conductive to each other, and the switch 40 outputs a switch input signal. If this input device is applied to a keyboard input device, the operability is improved because movement of a cursor due to depression of the pad 10 and command execution due to depression of the button 41 are performed continuously with a single hand.</p> |
