PURPOSE:To shorten the data aligning time by using two kinds of change period of a pair of data partial strings and reducing the number of data inputted to the last merging device to accelerate data output from the last merging device. CONSTITUTION:A data arranging device consists of plural merging devices 1-1-1-n, memories 2-1..., and a sorter control circuit 3 which controls operations of merging devices 1-1-1-n. The data string of an input terminal 100 is counted synchronously with clocks by the last data discriminating circuit 301 of the circuit 3, and a change report timing 19 is sent to merging devices 1-1-1-n when the input of the last data is completed. Each of merging devices 1-1-1-n consists of a control part 30, a comparator 50, a multiplexer 60, a write circuit 70 for memories 2-1..., a read circuit 80, and latch circuits 90. Thus, the number of data in the data partial string inputted to the last merging device is reduced to shorten the data aligning time. |
