PURPOSE:To improve tensile strength of a disc wheel by constituting the disc wheel having crooked spokes with filament winding between rim portions and the boss fitting. CONSTITUTION:To a fiber-reinforced resin rim 1 which has protruding pins 4 embedded along the inner circumference 1a at equal spaces a jig 2 which has an outer circumference 2a that corresponds to the inner circumference 1a and a crooked surface that corresponds to the desired shape of the spokes to be formed is fitted. The boss fitting 3 provided on the jig 2 and the embedded pins 4 are filament-wound along the crooked surface to form the crooked spoke portions 7. Since the jig 2 which is used as a kind of a mold has a surface crooked from the circumferential direction like an alphabet S in order to arrange both ends of the spoke portions 7 to be parallel with the center line of the rim, winding of fiber bundles and forming may be carried out at the same time. The above method increases strength of the disc wheels in comparison with the previous ones, and it can effectively bring forth a lightening of vehicles. |
