<p>The device comprises a rotor (18) having a central pin (183), a plurality of concentrically arranged cylinders (180 - 182) and a sprocket wheel (14), adapted for mesh engagement with a rack fixed to the sidewall of a drawer compartment. The device also comprises a stator (17) adapted for being attached to a drawer and rotatably mounted on the pin (183), and having a plurality of concentrically arranged cylinders (170 - 172) interposed between those of the rotor (18). Relative movement of the rotor (18) and the stator (17) is controlled by an arrangement of co-operating grooves, a cam, and a ball, and a high density fluid (LS) interposed between the cylinders (170 - 172, 180 - 182).</p> |
