PURPOSE:To form an optical switch which is small in size and light in weight and with which light input and output can be made easy by adding a heating means to a dielectric multilayer film optical filter. CONSTITUTION:A nichrome electrode having 100mum line width, 500mum pitch, and 5mu film thickness is used as a comb line electrode 3. When the line width of the nichrome comb line electrode 3 becomes <=10mum, the angle of diffraction of a light becomes layer and detereoration with the lapse of time suddenly becomes larger when the electrode 3 is continuously used and, when it is taken into consideration that the electrode forming is performed by using photoresist, moreover, it is desirable to set the line width of the electrode 3 at >=20mum. Furthermore, it is necessary to set the pitch of the comb line electrode 3 at >=40mum to obtain a transmitting light efficiency of >=50%. The pitch of <=50mum is recommendable from the point of the forming accuracy of the comb line electrode. |
