摘要 A method for controlling the idling speed of an internal combustion engine supplied with a lean air/fuel ratio includes generating a speed error signal. The speed error signal is used to generate a fuel pulse width command signal to control fuel mass charge as a function of the speed error signal. A throttle command signal is generated as a function of the fuel mass charge to maintain a desired air mass charge which in turn maintains a desired air to fuel ratio.
