PURPOSE:To always scan a beam in a desired locus even when optional scan is performed at a high speed, by providing a scan distortion correcting circuit using three multipliers and correcting X-axis and Y-axis position controlling signals. CONSTITUTION:The beam positioner of this invention has a scan distortion correcting circuit added to a part where X-axis and Y-axis position controlling signals 101 and 102 are inputted in optical scanners 1 and 2. The scan distortion correcting circuit is constituted by using three analog multipliers 11-13. When variable resistors 16 and 17 are previously adjusted, optical scan distortion can be corrected by means of an electric circuit and a beam positioner which is practically free from scan distortion can be obtained. |
