PURPOSE:To prevent the phase of a data from being shifted in an odd field and an even field by providing a delaying circuit of a delay quantity of 1/(2fs) in common with regard to the odd field and the even field, and inhibiting a processing of a delay inversion, in case of a static image having no motion, in order to prevent a malfunction caused by a noise. CONSTITUTION:A delay control part 4 is provided on a transmitting side. A calculated horizontal motion vector is supplied to this delay control part 4, and a motion vector of a resolution of 1/(2fc) is converted to a delay control signal for controlling a motion correcting quantity of 1/fs and a delaying circuit 9 of 1/(2fs). This delay control signal is generated by '0' and '1' of the least significant bit of the motion vector, and whether an inversion of a delay has been executed in the previous time or not. In such a case, from the motion vector of continuous two fields, the delay inversion is inhibited forcibly, in case of a static image. This motion correcting quantity and the delay control signal are added to a transmitting digital television signal. In the receiving side, the motion is corrected, based on the motion correcting quantity, and also, by the delay control signal, the delaying circuit which is provided on the receiving side is controlled. |
