PURPOSE:To attain the external extension of a hand-free function by providing an external speech path switch which connects a hand-free speech path to an external hand-free control part when a hand-free signal is detected. CONSTITUTION:When data from a data detection part 3 is data on the on/off operation of the hand-free speech path 8, the external speech path switch 14 is switched according to this signal; when the hand-free speech path is turned on, the hand-free speech path 8 is connected to an external hand-free control part 2. Further, when the hand-free speech path is off, the hand-free speech part 8 is connected to the speech path switch 15 of a handset 13. Thus, when hand-free operation is selected, the hand-free control part 2 connected to the outside operates and when the hand-free operation is not selected, the hand-free control part 4 of the handset 13 operates.
