PURPOSE:To eliminate possibility of invasion of external unsterilized air into a device which has been sterilized with steam from a sealing part by preventing the filtrate side from becoming negative pressure by introducing hot water from feed water side of a filtration device in the cooling stage after steam sterilization. CONSTITUTION:When a filtration device 1 provided with a semipermeable membrane module 2 is sterilized with steam, an automatic valve 23 in a steam feeding pipe 10 is opened to introduce steam from an inlet B into the inside (feed water side) of a hollow yarn semipermeable membrane through a prefilter 13, passing the steam through the semipermeable membrane to flow into the filtrate side. After completing the steam sterilization, automatic valves 23, 26-29 are closed, and the whole part of the filtration device 1 is brought into closed state and cooled. In this stage, steam is introduced into a feed water tank 3 through a pipe 19 communication to a steam feed pipe 10 to heat the feed water. The heated feed water is fed to a filtration device 1 with a circulation pump 5 to pressurize the inside of the filtration device 1. The device is cooled in this state to room temp. |
