<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic tablet of high precision by securing the follow-up of the tip displacement of a pen point to the applied voltage and therefore eliminating the misinput produced by the reverberation amplitude when an input pen has a slow contact with the tablet surface. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage is applied to a piezoelectric element 2, the element 3 is extended up and down. This displacement of the element 3 is slightly absorbed by a damper 2 such as the hard rubber 1t, etc. However most of said displacement is transmitted to a pen point 4 owing to a large amplitude. The reverberation of the pen point 4 and the element 3 have small amplitude and are absorbed by the damper 2. Therefore the displacement amount of the tip part of the point 4 follows well the voltage applied. Both the material and the thickness of the damper 2 are decided by a desired amount of the displacement and the voltage applied. Then the damper 2 can be omitted as long as a pen case 1 is made of plastic, etc. which is acoustically soft.</p> |
