G418-RESISTANT CELL DERIVED FROM HUMAN BURKITT'S LYMPHOMA

PURPOSE:To obtain a hybridom capable of permanently multiplying a specific monoclonal antibody, by imparting artificially G418 resistance to a specific fusible cell by fusing the fusible cell with a specific Escherichia coli protoplast. CONSTITUTION:G418 resistance is artificially imparted to a fusible cell derived from human Burkitt's lymphomas by fusing the fusible cell with as Escherichia coli protoplast having neomycin-resistant plasmid. A parent cell for imparting the G418 resistance is obtained by separating a cell capable of fusing with a cell producing an antibody in lymphoblasts separated from human Burkitt's lymphomas. A cell designated at NAT-30 can be used as the above-mentioned cell.
