PURPOSE:To obtain anchors of low resistances at low cost by a method in which a sheet of metal. etc., is molded into a cross sectional form in which U-shaped forms are connected alternately and continuously and supporting bars are thrust through the sheet and its one end is connected to an upright retaining wall. CONSTITUTION:A plastic or metal sheet is molded into a cross sectional form in which U-shaped forms are connected aleternately and continuously to form a molded sheet 3. A supporting bar 5, e.g., bar steel, etc., having screw grooves 4 on its both ends, is thrust through the sheet 3 and reinforcing materials are screwed with both ends of the bar 5 to make up an earth anchor. In constructing an upright retaining wall 8, the earth anchor is buried in soil, and its one end is connected to the wall 8. Anchors having great resistances and great frictional forces can thus be obtained at low cost. |
