PURPOSE:To prevent the disappearance of a printed character (black), by intercepting the exposure by an original image on the printed area with a shutter plate. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 211 is normally rotated, a wire 207 is rotatively driven clockwise and a shutter plate 200 is carried to the area of original picture lights and, when the motor 211 is rotated in the opposite direction, the shutter plate 200 is rewound by a reel 206 and retreated from the exposure area. A base table 215 is attached pivotally to the frame of a copying machine and, when a solenoid 204 is conducted, rotates and the shutter plate 200 which is carried by the wire 207 intercepts the light of the original image. When the solenoid 204 is not conducted, the shutter plate 200 pulled out by the wire 207 is retreated from the optical path for exposing the original image and does not make any intercepting operation. When the leading position of the shutter plate 200 is optionally positioned, light interception can be performed to an optional position in a Y direction from an X axis. In a main scanning direction, an optional extent can be intercepted from light by optionally controlling the turning on and off of the solenoid 204. |
