PURPOSE:To improve the quality of steel by adding a compound such as CaAl2 or CeAl2 to molten steel. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amount of CaAl2, CeAl2, NiAl or CoAl is added to molten cast carbon steel, molten cast stainless steel or other molten steel to increase the tensile strength and elongation of the steel and to improve remarkably the quality of the steel. |
