PURPOSE:To make clogging of ink hard to occur, by setting an ink leading plate on an ink film layer. CONSTITUTION:The area of a heating element 2 or an efficient heating portion thereof is so determined as to substantially fit to the diameter of the flying ink drip. Ink is supplied to the surface of the heating element 2 through a small gap portion 7 formed n all sides of the heating element 2, preventing supply of ink from being troubled even if the small gap portion 7 is partly clogged by debris. An opening 8 in an ink leading plate 6 which is neither a nozzle nor an orifice is formed in the appropriate size not to interfere the forming of an ink projecting portion 11 by bubbles and the flyover of ink drips 12, but to allow them. Accordingly, the bubble produced when a debris 14 drips in the opening 8 from the outside induces the force pressing up the debris 14 in their invading direction, removing the debris 14 together with the ink drips. |
