PURPOSE:To omit a separating operation, by furnishing a filter to be turned over freely at a hatch cover movable over the hatch, under which is arranged a slurry water storage tank with an opening at the upper surface, and turning over the filter to load only normal cargoes when the slurry is thrown over the filter. CONSTITUTION:At the upper deck 8 of a ship is formed a hatch cover 6 with a hatch opening 7 movable freely. The hatch cover 6 has a filter 11 to separate slurry water, which is made to turn over freely at the opening 7. A slurry water storage tank 10 with the open upper side is furnished under the filter 11. When a slurry cargo is thrown over the filter 11, normal cargoes remain over the filter 11, while separated slurry water is put into the tank 10. There fore, by turning over the filter 11 toward the hatch opening 7, only normal cargoes can be loaded in the hold, omitting a separating operation within the ship.
