PURPOSE:To detect information on a fluorescent lamp together with the information on colors and temperature when outputs of the information on the colors and temperature bringing about ripples under illuminating conditions of the fluorescent lamp are integrated, by allowing such integrated outputs to be shifted voltagewise and also detecting the ripples in comparison with the information on the above colors and temperature. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of red and blue sensors 1 and 2 are inputted into a subtracter 5 through respective logarithmic compressors 3 and 4 and their outputs are integrated by an integrating circuit 6, with the result that the output information on the colors and temperature are obtainable from a color, temperature information output terminal 11. On the other hand, an output VC of the circuit 6 is shifted by voltage shift circuits 7 and 8 and comparative levels VH and VL are set. The subtracter 5's output is compared with the comparative levels VH and VL by comparators 9 and 10 and is supplied fluorescent lamp information output terminals 12 and 13. Thus the fluorescent lamp information are detectable by monitoring whether output wave-forms of the terminals 12 and 13 will be H levels.
