PURPOSE:To permit the certain switching of fuel an secure the safety on stop by installing an electromagnetic mechanism which switches feeding passages according to the temperature of an intake heating part and cuts off the feeding passages when an engine stops, in a carburetor for swtiching gasoline and light oil. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is supplied into a gasoline tank 10 and a light-oil tank 11 through passages 7 and 8, respectively. A bimetal 12 is installed onto an intake manifold 3 heated by an exhaust pipe 2, and a selector valve 9 for the passages 7 and 8 is moved upwardly when the temperature is low on starting, and the passage 7 for gasoline is opened, and operation is carried-out by gasoline. When the temperature in the manifold 3 is allowed to rise by the exhaust, the bimetal 12 moves the valve 9 downwardly, and a light-oil feeding passage is opened, and stationary operation is carried out. When the engine is brought into stop, a solenoid valve 14 is operated, and the valve 9 is moved further upwardly from the passage 7 for gasoline, and then the both fuel passages are closed. Therefore, the flow of fuel into a nozzle on stop is prevented. |
