PURPOSE:To eliminate a wasteful use of a trunk line and a call line in case of an inter-office transfer, and to shorten the transfer processing time by providing a storage area which can store a station movement discriminating flag and movement destination information on an address corresponding to a subscriber's number in each exchange. CONSTITUTION:A station movement display table TRNST for storing a station movement discriminating flag 21 and movement destination information (movement destination office number + subscriber's number) 20 is provided on an address corresponding to the subscriber's number in each exchange. When receiving a selecting signal from other station, in case when an office number of a called subscriber is the own station, the table TRNST is retrieved, and in case when the flag 21 is set, the information 20 of the table TRNST is sent back to a calling subscriber containing station side. The exchange which has received this station moving signal again releases a connecting trunk line to a signal transmitting station side, and a communication channel, decides a movement destination station, and executes a connection processing corresponding to a result of decision. In this way, in case when a station of the movement destination is a station moving signal receiving station, the connection processing is executed without returning to the calling subscriber containing station, a wasteful use of a channel is eliminated, and the transfer processing time can be shortened. |
