PURPOSE:To obtain a valve having the superior cavitation erosion resistance and seizureproofness by using Ni, Cr, Mo, Nb, Fe group alloy. CONSTITUTION:According to the result of characteristic evaluation test for a testpiece which is obtained by melting-casting the material having a variety of compositions by use of a high frequency inductive melting furnace, the composition having the superior cavitation erosion resistance can be obtained. The results show that the valve box or the valve body whose one valve seat surface is made of the material consisting of Cr 15-45%, Nb 3-15%, No 20% or less, and Ni as rest by weight, and the other valve seat surface is made of the material consisting of Cr 10-25%, Mn 15-30%, V 0.3-3%, C 0.3% or less, N 0.2-1%, Mo 5% or less, Ni 0.5-10%, and Fe as rest possesses the superior performance. |
