PUMP DEVICE UTILIZING HYDROGEN OCCLUSION ALLOY AND TIRE-WHEEL FITTED WITH THE SAID DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable the pump device to be compact and lightweight and to be applicable even in such a place as the installation space is restricted by utilizing the occlusion and releasing action of hydrogen gas of hydrogen occlusion alloy as the power source of a pump. CONSTITUTION:This pump device is applied to the tire-wheel of cars and the like. The pump device is so constituted that the inside of a vessel 10 of hydrogen resistance is divided into the first chamber 15 and the second chamber 16 by a bellows 14. The first chamber 15 acts as a pump room and a hydrogen occlusion alloy 11 is provided to the second chamber 16. Further, to this hydrogen occlusion alloy 11, a heating means such as a heater 24 and the like to which current is supplied intermittently is provided. And it is so constituted that the hydrogen occlusion alloy 11 is intermittently heated by this heating means to release or occlude hydrogen gas so as to change the pressure in the inside of second chamber 16 to expand or contract the bellows 14.
