PURPOSE:To obtain a recording pen having a small size and simple construction by providing non-aqueous ink, ink chamber and voltage supply part, etc. CONSTITUTION:A recording pen 1, an ink conduit 2, the ink chamber 3 bisected by a perforated chamber wall 4, a perforated chamber wall 4, a net-like electrode 5, a power source 6, oil ink 7, etc. are provided. A voltage is impressed from the power source 6 to the electrode 5 on both surfaces of the wall 4. The flow of the ink 7 is thereby induced. Respective materials are so selected that the ink flows in the narrow direction. The ink 7 is thereby extruded from the pen 1 through the conduit 2. The ink 7 is conversely passed and sucked in the opposite direction when the polarity of the voltage to be impressed to the net-like electrode on both surfaces is inverted. The above-mentioned construction is adequately used for the recorder in which the ink chamber 3 is fixed and the pen 1 is moved.
