PURPOSE:To contrive lower cost and prevention of generation of noise, by providing an ink-impregnated porous body with a ferromagnetic plate fixed to its surface for fitting to a magnetized platen base body. CONSTITUTION:The ink platen 4 is constituted of the platen base body 7 magnetized after being molded from a composite material obtained by mixing a powder of a permanent magnet material and a fibrous filler into a thermoplastic elastomer and the ink-impregnated porous body 5 with a ferromagnetic plate fixed to its surface for fitting to the platen base body 7. Since the body 7 is molded by injection molding, cost is reduced, and since the body 7 has a magnetic attracting force, the porous body 5 can be easily mounted to the body 7 by the magnetic force. Further, since the base body 7 is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer as a base material, noise is prevented from being generated due to the collision sound at the fitting surface of the base body 7 and the porous body 5. |
