PURPOSE:A composition that is composed of a radically polymerizable monomer, a composite filler and a photopolymerization initiator, thus showing good photosetting properties at low temperature and giving cured product of high hardness, strength, good grinding properties, surface gloss, high abrasion resistance and color tone and being suitable for dental purposes. CONSTITUTION:The composition contains (A) 100pts.wt. of a radically polyme rizable monomer such as triethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate, 1,3-di(meth)- acryloyloxybenzene, (B) 50-800pts.wt. of fine particles of inorganic filler such as silica, alumina or quartz of 1mum-50mu of average particle size, which are coated with polymer of radically polymerizable polyfunctional (meth)acrylate monomer and (C) 0.05-10pts.wt. of a photopolymerization initiator such as diacetyl, dibenzyl, camphorquinone.
