PURPOSE:To reduce wear of a belt and facilitate to make endless by arranging a temporarily patterned electroconductive material over the cloth basis for the belt and by electrodepositing diamond particles on this cloth basis in accordance with this pattern. CONSTITUTION:Pattern printing 11 with electroconductive material is applied to one side of a cloth basis for belt 4, which is electrodeposited in a plating vessel 5 so as to provide coeduction of diamond particles 6 on the surface. Use of this close basis 4 to endless belt allows patterned diamind particles 6 to work fully with their extra-hardness to assure less risk of getting dull, and further it is possible to easily grind ceramic etc., which should lead to reduced wear of the belt. Moreover, it is easy to accomplish endless form. Instead of pattern printing 11 with electroconductive material, it is also acceptable to use a metal material provided with patterned holes. Also the cloth basis 4 may be reinforced by affixing double.
