PURPOSE:To reduce noise during high-speed reciprocation of a hydraulic actuator by providing a piston of a single-acting pump connected to one side chamber of a hydraulic actuator, which is reciprocated in such a manner that the initial velocity and the end velocity are zero, and the middle velocity is maximum. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 15 is disposed in a cylinder 11 of a hydraulic actuator B, the upper chamber thereof being connected to an oil tank 1 by a pipeline 18, the lower chamber thereof being connected to the interior of a cylinder 5 of a single-acting pump B by a pipeline 18. A piston 7 of the single-acting piston pump B is driven by reciprocating means 8, 9 in such a manner that the initial velocity and the end velocity are zero, and the middle velocity is maximum, so that the velocity of the plunger 15 of the hydraulic actuator B is zero at the upper and lower dead points. Thus, during high-speed reciprocation, vibration and noise produced at the upper and lower dead points can be prevented.
