PURPOSE:To maintain the multifunctionality of communication equipment which has many selectable functions, and to reduce its functional operation part to a necessary irreducible extent and simplify a console panel surface by writing or rewriting currently required function contents in an internal memory externally. CONSTITUTION:A local oscillation frequency 21 is impressed to a mixer stage 11 from a PLL oscillator 2 and a transmission/reception frequency or channel is set. The oscillation frequency of the PLL oscillator 2 is set with digital data 31 supplied from a programmable counter 3, etc. When plural channels are set, an address command 51 is applied to the memory 4 from a memory address switching part 5 to select desired channels. The memory 4 uses an ROM or RAM according to the purpose of use and the memory contents are written or rewritten by an outside memory data writer and rewriter 6 through a data circuit 61. The memory 4 is stored with not only with set data on the frequency or channel, but also data on various selectable functions.
