METHOD FOR STOPPING RESIN CHANGE/COLOR CHANGE CIRCUIT IN INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To solve such a problem that operation finish does not coincide with the discharge finish of the resin in a cylinder or the quality of a molded product becomes inferior because of the elapse of a long time, by detecting the point of time when the resin in a screw cylinder was exhausted to judge the same as the finish point of operation and stopping resin changing/color changing operation. CONSTITUTION:A screw position sensor 16 is constituted of a potentiometer and detects the position of a screw to transmit data to CPU13 through an interface 12. A resin changing/color changing operation start button 17 sends a resin changing/color charging operation start signal to CPU13 through the interface 12 to start resin charging/color charging operation on the basis of predetermined set data by a program memory apparatus 14 and data memory apparatus 15 and rotates a hydraulic pump 18 by an electromotor 19 to sent the hydraulic oil in a tank to a hydraulic cylinder 23 and a hydraulic motor 24 through a solenoid flow control valve 20 and solenoid valves 21, 22 to allow the screw 6 to advance and retract.
