PURPOSE:To improve the response to the whole system by storing screen data to be displayed on the display device of a terminal device side in the mass storage device of the terminal device side, transmitting only an identifier from a host computer, and reading screen data out of the mass storage device on the terminal device side on the basis of the identifier and displaying it on the display device. CONSTITUTION:The host computer 1 consists of an identifier generating means 11 and an identifier transmitting means 12 and a terminal device 2 consists of an identifier receiving means 21, an identifier analyzing means 22, a screen data reading means 23, and a screen data display means 24 and also has the mass storage device 31 stored with screen data and the display device 32 which displays screen data. Then, screen data 41, 42-4n in said mass storage device 31 are displayed on the display device 32.
