PURPOSE:To enhance completion of cycle, by a mold engaging and disengaging mechanism having the engaging body provided to one of a pair of molds and the engaging shaft provided to the other mold in a state freely engaging and disengaging with the engaging body. CONSTITUTION:An engaging body 5 is provided so that the side of the engaging recessed part 7 is formed to the side opposite to a clamping and loosening drive part 6 which consists of the L-shape support jig 8 mounted to a mold 2 and the hydraulic cylinder 9 supported by said support jig 8. The hydraulic cylinder 9 consists of the main body 10 directly fixed to the support jig 8 and the engaging shaft 13 provided in a protruded state in opposed relation to the engaging body 5 so as to freely advance and retract with respect to the main body 10 in the directions shown by arrows 11a, 11b and to freely revolve to the directions shown by arrows 12a, 12b. The engaging shaft 13 consists of a base shaft part 14 and the C-shape engaging element 15 connected to the leading end of said base shaft part 14 while the engaging element 15 is engaged with the engaging body 5 and the engaging recessed part 16 is provided so as to be formed in the side of the base shaft part 14. |
