PURPOSE:To make it possible to shift an ink ribbon regardless of ON/OFF of a power source and to perform the replacement of an ink ribbon in an extremely easy manner, by mechanically detect that the upper lid of a recording apparatus was opened and shifting the ink ribbon upwardly simultaneously with the opening of the upper lid. CONSTITUTION:When the shift-up operation of an ink ribbon is performed by a solenoid 15, shift operation is performed regardless of the side of a link lever 22. At the replacement time of the ink ribbon, the solenoid 15 is not operated and the ink ribbon 5 is brought to a shift-down state. When an upper lid 24 is opened in this state, a revolvable lever 19 is revolved by the tensile force of a spring 21 and the link lever 22 also moves upwardly and, because the tensile force of the spring 21 is larger than that of a spring 14, an operation lever 13 is revolved. As a result, the link lever 12 is revolved through an operation shaft 10 and the leading end sides of ribbon guides 6, 7 are raised through a link lever 8 and the ink ribbon 5 comes to a shift-up state. |
