PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance the heat recovery efficiency of a combustion device and at the same time to lower the NOx content by a method wherein the fuel is burnt by the combustion air containing moisture in the combustion device and the exhaust gas is cooled at a dehumidifying cooling tower and, on the other hand, the combustion air is heated at a humidifying heating tower. CONSTITUTION:The combustion gas turns into exhaust gas by lowering its temperature down to 100-250 deg.C at a heat usage equipment and heat recovery equipment A. The exhaust gas is led to the bottom of a dehumidifying cooling tower 2 and ascends through a contact layer 2a and is dehumidifyingly cooled by being brought into contact with the cool water, which is cooled at a humidifying heating tower 3 and sprinkled down from the upper part of the dehumidifying cooling tower 2 and finally discharged from a stack 2b. The water, which is collected to the bottom 2c of the tower 2 and heated by the exhaust gas, humidifyingly heats the air, which is sent by means of a blower 6 so as to ascend the tower 3, while being sprinkled down from the upper part of the tower 3 through a contact layer 3a so as to be collected to the bottom 3c of the tower 3 in order to be sent to the upper part of the tower 2 and to be circulated by sprinkling down. On the other hand, the air sent from the blower 6 into the tower 3 is humidified and its temperature is raised. After that, the air is blown from the upper part of the tower 3 through a piping 7 into a combustion device 1. Accordingly, because the steam is reduced by the heat recovered from the exhaust gas, the heat recovery of the exhaust gas is possible simultaneous with its denitrification. |
