PURPOSE:To prevent a piezoelectric element from oscillating and to form a small-size shape close to the shape of the piezoelectric element by using a cylindrical ceramic resonance element of thickness longitudinal oscillation, inserting the element into a container which covers the whole element, and calking a metallic cap to the container in one body. CONSTITUTION:The element 6 is put in the container 7 and pressed with metallic caps 8 from both ends of the container, and the container 7 and caps 8 are calked to form a united ceramic resonator.
