The heat-insulating profile rail-type bar, to be made for a window or door frame, or something similar, has a connecting piece of insulating material between two sidewalls. This consists of a extremely extruded metal profile with a connecting wall. On one side this connecting wall (5) has a recess (8), along the metal profile (1), with inclined sides. Its material is cut away from the side opposite the recess, which may be trapezoid or arc shaped. The connecting wall may be cut away with a rotating tool. |
