PURPOSE:To move buckets along a desired locus, by dividing the moving distance of the front end of the scooping section of a bucket conveyor connecting between a start point and a set desired point, into sections at every predetermined distance, and as well by rectilinearly moving the front end while the positiones of motion which are calculated upon automatic operation are realized. CONSTITUTION:The moving distance of the front end of a bucket conveyor connecting between a start point and a set desired point is divided at every predetermined distance so that the scooping section 8a of the bucket conveyor and the center of the bucket conveyor are both rectilinearly moved at speeds proportional to their distances between the start point and the set desired point. The motion positions at the divided positions are computed so that the motion positions beforehand calculated are successively realized upon automatic operation to rectilinearly move the front end of the scooping section 8 of the bucket conveyor along a desired locus to prevent collision against the wall surface of a ship hold, thereby materials to be unloaded are discharged with no materials being left to remain. |
