<p>Thermoplastic film having improved resistance to impact by pointed objects or projectiles, is made by extrusion of a mixt. of (a) 40-95 wt.% of a chlorinated polyolefin with a combined chlorine content of 25-50 wt.% (b) 2-57 wt.% of an olefin (co)polymer and (c) 1-3 wt.% of a stabiliser to combat degradation of the chlorinated polyolefin at the extrusion temp. Prods. are esp. useful as packaging films in the prodn. of bags for medical use, esp. drainage bags such as colostomy bags.</p> |
