The invention relates to a wheel with a composite structure intended particularly for motor vehicles. It consists of a disc 1, more particularly made of moulded aluminium comprising a wheel rim profile part 3, and a complementary component 2, generally made from steel sheet centred at 5 on the wheel disc 1, assembled at 6 with the wheel disc 1 and comprising the complementary part 4 of the wheel rim profile. Sealing between the wheel disc 1 and the complementary component 2 is provided at 7. This type of wheel has the style advantages of wheels entirely made of moulded alloy with a lower cost and equivalent weight; industrial means already installed at wheel manufacturers' are used to make it. <IMAGE>
