EXCESS LENGTH PROCESSING PART OF OPTICAL FIBER CORE

PURPOSE:To simplify the supporting structure and to reduce the space of an excess length processing part by arranging coiling parts of excess length of plural optical fibers on a common supporting body with retaining tools so that these coiling parts overlap one another. CONSTITUTION:Coiling parts 2A formed with excess length parts of plural optical fibers 2 are arranged on one narrow and long plate-shaped supporting body 1 so that coiling parts 2A overlap one another. Both ends of each coiling part 2A are supported by a retaining tool 3 and are not moved. Thus, the supporting structure is simplified, and the excess length processing space is reduced.
