PURPOSE:To remove quickly swarf, etc. from a work and to make possible the quick measurement of the size, etc. at the worked point by maintaining the material to be measured at a specified temp. by a constant-temp. cleaning device then imposing the same on a stage. CONSTITUTION:The worked work 4 is fed by a conveying robot 5 to the constant-temp. cleaning device 12 and is set in a cleaning chamber of a housing. A robot mechanism 18 is then actuated by a driving control device 19 and an arm 17 of the mechanism 18 is three-dimensionally moved along the surface of the work 4. A pressure fluid adjusted to the specified temp. of 20 deg.C by a temp. controller is ejected from a liquid injection nozzle 15. The swarf, etc. sticking to the work 4 are removed by the injection pressure thereof and the working heat is decreased in temp. The arm 17 of the mechanism 18 repeats the same three-dimensional motion by the device 19 after the ejection of the pressure fluid ends. The compressed air adjusted to the specified temp. of 20 deg.C by the temp. controller is ejected from an air injection nozzle 16 by which the work 4 is dried. The work is finally adjusted to the reference measuring temp. of 20 deg.C.
