Two contacts, i.e. the primary which is not vehicle mounted, and the secondary which is part of the vehicle, are connected respectively, via couplers to vehicle identity determining components. With the primary contact, a control circuit incorporates the identity determining component with which it connects. - Prior to filling, the primary contact is made to work in conjunction with the secondary and the first identifier evaluates the identity of the vehicle by reading out the built-in identity component. This in turn initiates a circuit in the control circuit, so that via a conduit a pump is started or a valve mechanism is activated to permit fuel to be fed to the vehicle. Initiation of the activating circuit only takes place after insertion of a code belonging to a responsible person, e.g. a driver, by a keyboard feeding a memory for authentification. |
