PURPOSE:To obtain a detector having a simple construction and enabling temperature correction easily by providing two pressure sensors which are arranged in a pressure vessel and constituted with semiconductors with mutually different polarities of a resistance change for the hydrostatic pressure and means or the like to calculate a resistance ratio of the sensors. CONSTITUTION:The pressure sensors R1 and R2, and a temperature detecting element TC are arranged in the pressure vessel 1 and a pressure transmission medium 2 which is an incompressible fluide is enclosed in the vessel 1. Further, the resistance values of the pressure sensors R1 and R2 constituted with pressure sensitive semiconductor material are changed to the plus polarity and the minus polarity respectively according to a change of the applied hydrostatic pressure. Further, the temperature detecting element TC is, for instance, like a thermocouple. Then, the influence of the temperature is eliminated and a signal in proportion to the pressure can be obtained by calculating the resistance ratio of the pressure sensors R1 and R2 and dividing it by a temperature signal based on a prescribed formula. |
