PURPOSE:To provide a cool storing agent which is large in energy storing capacity, harmless judging from the standpoint of food hygiene and can cool or freeze foods in a short time, which comprises KCl or NH4Cl, a specific alcohol and water. CONSTITUTION:1-3wt% at least one alcohol selected from among ethyl alcohol, ethylene glycol and propylene glycol is added to an aq. soln. containing 14-19.3wt% KCl or 8-18.7wt% NH4Cl. USE:A cool storing agent which swells only a little at time of solidification and causes no deformation of a cool storing container. |
