The device makes it possible to deter thieves by setting off an audible and (or) luminous alarm. It consists of an electrical current variation detector 1 actuated by a petrol gauge 7 and 4 and consists in setting off the alarm by means of a switch placed with or separately from the ignition key 2, making it possible, if the petrol level varies, to operate the audible and (or) luminous alarm 6, a delay switch 3 putting the latter into operation (for example 2 seconds later) as soon as the petrol level varies, and shutting off the alarm (for example 1 minute later) as soon as the petrol level stabilises. <IMAGE> |
