PURPOSE:To constitute easily an airtight penetrating part by inserting an optical fiber wiring tube into a pipe, which is buried airtightly in a partitioning wall, through an airtight holding member and providing an optical fiber for connection between cylindrical holders in both ends of this tube through a connector. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 2 is buried airtightly in a partitioning wall 1. A fiber wiring tube 4 is inserted coaxially to the pipe 2 through an airtight holding member 3 attached to one end of the pipe 2. Cylindrical holders 5 are fitted and fixed airtightly to both end parts of the wiring tube 4, and connectors 7 are attached airtightly to holders 5, and an optical fiber 6 is attached between connectors 7. The airtight holding member 3 is provided with a connection hole 17, and gaseous nitrogen is sealed in the fiber wiring tube 4 to monitor the airtightness by a pressure gauge 18. The airtight holding member 3, the fiber wiring tube 4, holders 5, etc. are constituted into a unit in a plant, and this unit is fixed airtightly to the pipe 2 in the field to form the penetrating part, and the optical fiber is connected to connectors 7. Thus, the penetrating part is constituted easily. This method is suitable for an atomic power plant. |
